My story

Rewind to 2018. I struggled with focusing on anything work-related. I didn’t want to do anything hard and would get sidetracked easily by video games and YouTube binges. I wanted to see a psychiatrist to get diagnosed with ADD to get MORE work done.

Symptoms I suffered from:

  • having a short attention span and being easily distracted
  • appearing forgetful or losing things
  • being unable to stick to tasks that are tedious or time-consuming
  • appearing to be unable to listen to or carry out instructions
  • interrupting conversations
  • constantly changing activity or task
  • having difficulty organizing tasks
  • being unable to sit still, especially in calm or quiet surroundings
  • being unable to concentrate on tasks
  • excessive talking
  • being unable to wait their turn

With all these symptoms, I was confident I could get diagnosed and prescribed by a doctor. But before doing so, I wanted to research the side effects of Adderall, Vyvanse, and other ADD/ADHD medications. Upon reading many scientific articles and watching the Netflix Documentary “Take Your Pills,” I decided that medication was going to make me dependent and never resolve the core underlying issue. My mother recommended meditation, and the rest is history.

Today, I can focus on the task at hand, I’m a better listener, and I’ve been told that I represent a calm vibe. The most important thing of all, I’ve figured out who I am and what drives me. I want to make the world a better place, and right now, that is sharing my story of suffering and how I’ve overcome it so that you can become the best you. The more compassionate and productive humans we have, the better this world can be. By sharing the knowledge, I’ve gained from books related to philosophy, psychology, sociology, and self-help. I enjoy doing this through video storytelling and, of course, 1 on 1 coaching.
